SXT Oversized TAC + Bolt Knob

An evolution in bolt knob design!

We had an enquiry from a customer to put a ½ hex hole in the end of his bolt knob so he could use the bolt as a ring wrench with his Nightforce tactical rings. So we did!

This will fit any bolt that has a 5/16-24 thread cut in it and will allow the user to remove their bolt and quickly undo or do up a set of tactical rings that use the ½ nut to secure them. Manufacturers currently using a ½ nut to secure tactical rings include Nightforce, Leupold and EGW.

The knob if fully anodised in Matte black and we recommend using a good quality retaining compound or epoxy glue when fitting.

I have found that holding the bolt in my hand with the handle sticking out between the two middle fingers gives more than enough leverage to do the job.
